Kentai Shadow Clan

"I am Marce, the owl, assistant to Igna, the salamander. The clan has two other men in my rank. We three serve the triumvirate. They are three very different men. The other assistants are Kevork, the panther, assistant to Zero, the falcon. Next there is Phan, the snake, assistant to the more mysterious of the three triumvirs Black Death, the plague.

We are a group with an ultimate goal of some mystery. We are not a tight knit group. We do not have an advertised headquarters, a member list opened to look at.

There are three branches to us. We don't give them fancy titles. They do what they do. Each triumvir leads on of the branches. I am assistant to Igna, he is the triumvir in charge of acquiring funds to keep the clan afloat. Zero is the one who takes care of relations with the clan and other organizations, and recruiting people he finds adequate. Black Death as the name would lead one to believe leads the clan's military force, which seemed strange considering the clan was a complete secret. How had he assembled a military force of any size, and not been detected by anyone?

I don't know, and I have no business looking into it. He and Phan are in charge of that, and my superior Igna trusts him. He must know something I don't.

Zero seems like a decent guy. Seeing him get worked up at the meetings from time to time though, he gets a little ranty. Not crazy, just a little annoying and redundant. Forgetting that we know most of what he tells us already. Like we still need convincing of what we're doing.

I've spent a little time with my superior, and he seems like a sound man. He is a fire sage and seemed good at his work of managing and collecting funds.

At first the triumvirs' choices in their assistants would seem strange at first look. Me a mercenary. Kevork a pirate. Phan, simply a mad gunman. Each of us though have qualities that our superiors seemed to be able to take advantage of.

We meet at least once a week, in a special room we call Domin's Eye. We all have a special way to get there. There is no door. No window. Now way simply in or out.

My way in is a special coin, given to me by Igna. I flip the coin, and I appear in the room. I don't know how everyone else gets there, whether they too have coins like mine or if they have a unique way in and out, but that's not a question I'm allowed to ask.

The meetings seem a little strained lately. The triumvirs seem to talk about a particular man that needs to be caught, but they don't seem concerned enough to give the assistants any information about him.
